GenZero Climate Summit 2024

The world is not on track to limiting global temperature rise to 1.5 °C in 2030. As we fall short of our climate goals, the next steps in the road to net zero seems fraught with uncertainty.

Themed ‘The Next Steps’, the second edition of the GenZero Climate Summit will focus on the pivotal and concrete course of actions required to overcome challenges and accelerate decarbonisation globally.

The only right path for us to combat climate change is the path forward.

COP28

COP28 will be the 28th Conference of the Parties to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC), a global summit where governments and other stakeholders discuss and negotiate actions to address the climate crisis. Hosted out of Dubai, United Arab Emirates (UAE), in November 2023, COP28 is expected to be a milestone moment for global climate action and will be geared towards responding to the Global Stocktake and closing the gaps to 2030.

The Earthshot Prize

Prince William’s Earthshot Prize will be held for the first time in Singapore this November. The third annual Awards Ceremony will recognise five Winners of The Earthshot Prize 2023 and award them with a catalytic £1 million to help scale their environmental solutions.

COP27 was the 27th Conference of the Parties to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC), a global summit where governments and other stakeholders discuss and negotiate actions to address the climate crisis. Hosted out of Sharm el-Sheikh, Egypt, in November 2023, COP27 hopes to inspire more ambition and cooperation among all stakeholders to achieve the goals of the Paris Agreement, which is to limit the global temperature rise to well below 2°C, preferably to 1.5°C, compared to pre-industrial levels.
